Mint: Budget & Expense Manager App Reviews

Ive always used the "Spending" app for my cash spending and loved it. At first I was hesitant about Mint because you have to log in your bank account information. But once I got over it and realized it would actually be secure, I fell in love! I can see all my accounts individually or combined so I know exactly how much I have.

The app is so easy. Love the different categories, visuals, credit report updates and tips. I actually was over paying for car insurance and switched thanks to Mint.

Aside from slow loading issues (which can be due to your wifi, bank updates, etc.), this is a great tool to keep your money spending in check.

I love the app but for about 3 months now the app keeps crashing every time I try to open it!! Ive deleted and reinstalled but nothing is working! Still waiting for Mint to fix this...

I love this app because I can check my bank accounts and what I spend. Its a great app to keep track on your money. I really recommend!

If youre serious about sticking to a budget and actually being able save then this the right app, once youve got all your accounts set up thats all! Its effortless

If you dont have this app, then you have a problem. This has helped me keep track of my budget. I have gone from being in debt to being out of debt in no time. Really is a handy tool to have. Would like to see an annual spending report like is brother quicken.

The Mint app is so user friendly, I was able to easily connect it to all of my accounts (some may be skeptical of credit fraud, but I have had no issues for years) and checking it daily has kept me on track with my spending. The website version allows you to create money goals and you can check you progress which helped me to pay off 11,000 of debt! Nothing else had worked for me. I love this app and I will continue to use it to keep my finances organized, stay accountable and disciplined, and look into some of their money saving/investing suggestions :)

Good app. I think a simple budget app that is probably cleaner and easier to use is SnapBudget.

I love this app. It is great for tracking expenses and easy to use.

The mint app is pretty good for basic budget tasks, but for doing any analysis I have to hop on my computer. Tags are poorly supported, so if you rely on these to track spending then youre out of luck. There are many other small issues like split transactions not showing different merchant labels, looking at budgets for past months is not intuitive, and unexpected crashes.

For the past three years Ive been able to completely get my debt under control and completely gone with Mint. I check it all the time and use it for debt, budgeting and overall being on top of every aspect of my finances. I absolutely recommend Mint to every one of my friends whether they need to start saving for a trip or otherwise. The app itself is pretty good - I use the website more but I love both!! Mint is a life saver xx

Easy viewing of budgets and nice pie charts of spending categories
